About Dr. Abid Hussain

Dr. Abid Hussain has 25 years of medical experience behind him and has been working in Dubai as a Family Medicine Specialist for last six years.
He has completed following qualifications from different prestigious institutes:

• MBBS in1992 from Pakistan
• Diploma in Mother & Child Health in 2008 from Pakistan
• MRCGP in 2014 from UK
• Sexual & Reproductive Health course in 2014 from Geneva Foundation, Switzerland

He started his professional career as General Practitioner in Pakistan in 1992. After serving and acquiring vast knowledge of General surgery, emergency medicine, Orthopedics, Paediatrics, Ob/Gynea and dermatology for 15 years, he moved to Saudi Arabia in 2010 where he completed his MRCGP degree.

He moved to U.A.E in 2014 and joined Al Noor Polyclinic and Family Medi Polyclinic as Specialist Family Medicine. He has been mainly providing general practice/ Trauma and emergency care to the local and expatriate community in Dubai. He embellishes looking after the patient as a whole, knowing the patient’s family members, encourages preventative medical approaches , provides supportive care and realistic goals to improve health outcome.
